Culture and cultural identity are considered to be most crucial for strengthening one’s identity within the social being. The term “culture” broadly contributes to be an umbrella term that encompasses human societies, societal norms, beliefs and social behavioral norms, which upholds one’s overall cultural and social identity. In addition to that, it could further be stated that, with broader understanding of culture, one also become able to identify the cultural differences and cultural institutions, which foster one’s overall identity. I live in Texas and I enjoy my life here, I came here from Singapore, which was my birthplace.
